About Us
Pat Buckley is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Duquesne University. She did her graduate work in Theater Arts at the University of Pittsburgh.
Pat is also a talented artist who creates handcrafted books, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, miniature memory boxes and polymer clay sculptures. She has taught at the Society for Contemporary Craft , the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Michael's Arts and Crafts stores. She also teaches collage and cake decoration.
Pat is especially skilled at bookbinding and believes that it is a beautiful and traditional art that we cannot afford to lose. Bookbinding can be an exciting and deeply personal art form in which each participant can express memories, feelings and personal style. Handmade books may be designed as journals, scrapbooks, keepsake books and gift books.
